Steamed Cactus, Onion and Cilantro

3 weeks in

It's been about three weeks since my doctor put me on 3 more pills a day than my 74 year old mother and freaked me out enough to find a diabetic mentor, who motivated me so far to bell peppers and avocado. Fact: I'm less lethargic. Fact: I'm one notch tighter on my belt.

7.3 pH and Green Drink

Ok, our bodies are a swimming pool, I'm reading. Most of the offerings we get to eat and drink are acidic, closer to 1 than 14 on the acidic scale. Optimum pH is 7.3 on that scale of acidic to alkaline. When we stay at 7.3, we heal from diabetes. A dose of bell peppers that are not green, alkaline water and avocado is optimum food to move us in the alkaline direction. And there is something called, "green drink."

Testing Ph

Thursday, June 1, 2017:  Ok, I started reading, "The Ph Miracle for Diabetics." It seems to suggest that our bodies are like swimming pools. We take in things that mess up our Ph, and we grow bacteria from our red blood cells. So do I need to buy a bunch of Ph test strips and test all the food and drink I take in for the next six months? Friday morning:  I got pool test strips; the pharmacies don't have human test strips, including Whole Foods. My Ph is not reading. I guess that's good. My ta (Total Alkalinity) is 180.
